The Voortrekker Monument” is one of my favorite buildings. There’s nothing quite like standing inside the monument on the 16th of December. It’s an absolutely breathtaking experience. On the 16th of December, a day known as the Day of the Vow, a ray of sunlight shines on the cenotaph inside the monument.
